ગુજરાતની રાજધાની Gandhinagar આજે એક મોટા Global Eventનું કેન્દ્ર બની છે. South Asiaમાં પ્રથમવાર World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2026નું આયોજન મહાત્મા મંદિર ખાતે શરૂ થયું છે. 15 અને 16 સપ્ટેમ્બરના Main Forum બાદ 17 અને 18 સપ્ટેમ્બરે વિવિધ Accelerator Sessions દ્વારા Circular Economy અંગેની ચર્ચાને વધુ વિસ્તૃત કરવામાં આવશે.

World Circular Economy Forumમાં દુનિયાના 65થી વધુ દેશોમાંથી 2,000થી વધુ Stakeholders ભાગ લઈ રહ્યા છે. તેમાં Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Policymakers, Academics અને Sustainability Expertsનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
આટલી મોટી Global Participationને કારણે Gandhinagar આગામી દિવસોમાં Circular Economy અને Sustainable Development અંગેના International Dialogueનું મહત્વનું કેન્દ્ર બની રહેશે.
Forumનો મુખ્ય હેતુ માત્ર Environmentની ચર્ચા કરવાનો નથી, પરંતુ Economy, Business, Technology અને Sustainabilityને એકસાથે જોડીને નવા Solutions શોધવાનો છે.
♻️ Circular Economy એટલે શું?
સરળ ભાષામાં સમજીએ તો Circular Economy એટલે “Use કરો અને ફેંકી દો” મોડલને બદલે વસ્તુઓને શક્ય તેટલા લાંબા સમય સુધી Economyમાં ઉપયોગી રાખવી.
કોઈ Product અથવા Materialનો ઉપયોગ પૂરો થયા બાદ તેને Waste તરીકે ફેંકી દેવાને બદલે:

🤖 AIથી લઈને Recycling સુધી મહત્વના મુદ્દાઓ પર ચર્ચા
Gandhinagarમાં યોજાઈ રહેલા Forumમાં Circular Economy સાથે જોડાયેલા અનેક મહત્વના મુદ્દાઓ પર ચર્ચા થશે.
તેમાં ખાસ કરીને:

WCEF 2026નું આયોજન Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra અને Government of Finland સહિતના Partners દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે.
Forumનું Gandhinagarમાં આયોજન થવું ભારત અને Finland વચ્ચે Circular Economy અને Sustainability ક્ષેત્રે International Collaborationને પણ દર્શાવે છે.
📅 15થી 18 સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી Circular Economy પર ચર્ચા
WCEF 2026નું Main Forum 15 અને 16 સપ્ટેમ્બરે Gandhinagarના Mahatma Mandir Convention Centreમાં યોજાઈ રહ્યું છે. ત્યારબાદ 17 અને 18 સપ્ટેમ્બરે વિવિધ Accelerator Sessions Gandhinagar તથા અન્ય Locations અને Online Platforms દ્વારા યોજાશે.
આ રીતે ચાર દિવસ દરમિયાન Circular Economy અંગે Global Experts અને વિવિધ Stakeholders વચ્ચે Knowledge Sharing અને Collaborationનો વ્યાપક કાર્યક્રમ યોજાશે.
