A. Shridhar Group joins hands to support ambitious green initiative across the year
In a significant step towards environmental sustainability, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Jupiter, in association with Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Platinum and Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, planted more than 1,000 saplings at Kalrav Farm, Jhaloda.
The plantation drive marks the beginning of a larger green mission, with RCA Skyline Jupiter setting a target to plant over 10,000 saplings during the current Rotary year, with the support of A. Shridhar Group.
The initiative is aimed at going beyond a one-day plantation activity and creating a sustained environmental impact through continued plantation efforts at suitable locations during the year.
Under the message “Together we plant. Together we grow. Together we heal the Earth,” Rotarians, members and supporters came together to contribute towards increasing green cover and creating a healthier environment for future generations.
A, Shridhar Group, which supported the initiative as Venue and Green Mission Partner, provided the space and extended its support towards the larger vision of planting 10,000+ saplings.
Special appreciation was extended to Amitbhai Koshti for his key role in coordination and execution of the plantation drive.
Skyline leaders Rtn Saurabh Khandelwal, Rtn Ashish Pandey, Rtn Pankaj Sanganeria and Rtn Rahul Garg also joined the initiative and extended their support to the environmental mission.
With 1,000+ saplings already planted and a target of 10,000+ during the Rotary year, RCA Skyline Jupiter aims to turn tree plantation into a sustained movement rather than a symbolic activity, combining Rotary’s spirit of community service with long-term environmental responsibility.
The club plans to continue expanding the initiative during the year with the support of partners, Rotarians and the wider community.

This version gives the media a much stronger headline: “1,000 planted now, 10,000 targeted this year”, which is more likely to get picked up as a news story rather than appearing only as an event report.
