Children dressed as Krishna and Radha, Phoolon Ki Holi and specially curated Krishna Kits turn the celebration into an immersive cultural experience.
Ahmedabad: More than 150 Rotary members, spouses, children and devotees celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Nandotsav at a vibrant Bhajan Jamming evening organised by the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline at La Pristine Banquet on Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Supported by Skyline’s six sister clubs—Skyline Tejasvini, Skyline Patron, Skyline Capitals, Skyline Platinum, Skyline Titans and Skyline Jupiter—the programme brought together devotion, music, fellowship and Indian traditions in a contemporary format.
A soulful Bhajan Jamming performance by Vyas Brothers blended traditional Krishna bhajans with contemporary rhythms. The interactive presentation had members across generations singing and dancing together, highlighting the growing popularity of Bhajan Jamming among young people.
Young children dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopis became the most endearing attraction of the evening, recreating the colourful spirit of Braj. Awards were presented to the Best-Dressed Krishna and Best-Dressed Radha in the children’s category. Members were also awarded prizes for their enthusiastic participation and performances during the programme.
A vibrant Phoolon Ki Holi, collective bhajan singing and Krishna-themed décor transformed the venue into an atmosphere of devotion, joy and celebration.
Every participant received a specially curated Krishna Kit, sponsored by Orenda Holdings and Credibiz. The kit included a Krishna-themed dupatta, a pouch containing dry-fruit prasad, a Radhe Radhe badge, bansuri, mor pankh, gajra and a pearl-beaded bracelet. The initiative enabled members to become an active part of the celebration and experience the Krishna festivities in a joyful and blissful manner.
The programme was conceived to reconnect members and their families with spirituality and the roots of Indian culture and traditions. By presenting traditional bhajans through an engaging and participative format, the event successfully combined faith with fellowship and made the celebration especially appealing to the younger generation.
Club President Rtn Pankaj Sanganeria expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors and Seva donors whose generous contributions helped make the celebration memorable. Club Secretary Rtn Preetika Gupta thanked all members and their spouses for voluntarily contributing their time and creativity towards the event decorations and arrangements.
The enthusiastic response demonstrated the importance of community celebrations in preserving religious faith, cultural values and traditions while passing them meaningfully to future generations.
